The vision of Leadville Nordic is to advance and promote the sport of cross country skiing in Lake County while supporting Lake County skiers of all ages and the community

It is the mission of Leadville Nordic to provide educational, financial, logistical, and developmental support for Nordic skiing athletes of Lake County. Leadville Nordic provides the framework through which Lake County skiers can work to meet their needs and goals.

Enjoy Nordic skiing on quiet trails with others who love the sport!

Must Do: Classic ski the Mineral Belt, or skate around Turquiose Lake on a sunny day right after it has been groomed.

Terrain: About 75 km of trails, all groomed by the Colorado Mountain College Ski Area Operation program, Lake County, or 2-Mile Hi Snowmobile Club. All of these trails are FREE!  

Facilities & Amenities: Our clubhouse is open to members on certain nights during the winter  for waxing.

Member Services: We provide coaching to youth and adults, put on clinics, and promote the sport in the town.

Special Events: Leadville Loppet, Mineral Belt Historical Tour, Ski Joring Sprints, Paintball Biathlon.
