Come explore one of North Americas only lift accessed trail systems, McCoy park is situated at the top of the Strawberry Park express lift (9,840ft/2999m). This unique trail system offers 32 plus KM of groomed and rustic trails for cross country, skate and snowshoeing.

The BC Nordic Sports Center: Located at the base of Beaver Creek mountain in the Strawberry Park Condominium Building across from the covered bridge and Beaver Creek Village. The Center offers a full service shop with rental equipment for classical, skate, telemark and snowshoeing. Our goal is to be the "friendliest shop in Beaver Creek" The Nordic Sports Center also offers a wide selection of Telemark skis from K2, Volkl, Rossignol and Fischer as well as boots from Garmont and Scarpa. Equipment can be exchanged throughout the day. Cross country Lessons and guided nature snowshoe tours are offered daily, privates are available upon request.(970-754-5313)

CROSS COUNTRY: Introductory lessons are offered daily from 10:00 am- 12:30 pm, afternoon nature tours daily from 1:15-3:30 pm. Half day and Full day privates available upon request.

SNOWSHOE TOURS: Guided nature snowshoe tours are offered daily from 10:00 am-12:30 pm and 1:15-3:30 pm. A great way to learn about the local history and Flora/Fauna of Beaver Creek. Half day and Full day Privates available upon request.

TELEMARK:Introductory Telemark lessons are offered Tuesday mornings (Tele Tuesday's) from 10:00 am-12:30 pm, Discounted pricing on Tuesday's. The Nordic Sports center also offers an extensive Telemark workshop series for all ability levels, from never evers to double blacks. The series features four coed workshops: (Dec 19th,  Jan 9th, Feb 20th, Mar 6th) two kids specific workshops (Jan 10th & Feb 21st) for ages 6-15 as well as the annual Super Sunday Women's only workshop (February 7th).

SNOWSHOE ADVENTURE SERIES:Beaver Creek also hosts the BC Snowshoe Adventure Series with 5k/10k races set for Jan 10th, Feb 7th, Mar 7th, www.bcsnowshoe.com or (970-476-6797)

The small retail portion of the center offers water, snacks, sunscreen, sunglasses, gloves, hats, goggles, neck gaiters and wax. We also feature a full selection of Atlas brand Snowshoes.

The McCoy park track system: Located at the top of Chair 12 the Strawberry park express, elevation 9,840ft/2,999m. Locals consider McCoy park to be one of Colorado's best kept secrets, views of 3 mountain ranges, offering peace, quiet and fabulous snow conditions. A Nordic lift /track access ticket is required $24 adults/$12 seniors/children 12 and under). The Track system has 32 Km of groomed, well-marked trails for classic, skate and snowshoe adventures. A cozy warming hut at the top of Chair 12 offers a beverage vending machine as well as lockers for clothing storage. There is a rustic yurt located on the trail sytem for incliment weather conditions. See trail mapfor locations of picnic tables and outhouse.

Terrain: Terrain: 32 Km groomed trails in McCoy Park for classic and skate skiing. 32 Km groomed trails in McCoy Park for snowshoe. 15 Km packed trails exclusively for snowshoe in McCoy Park. 60 Km packed trails in and around Beaver Creek Mt. and the Neighboring villages of Arrowhead and Bachelor Gulch for snowshoeing

Facilities & Amenities: Approx. 60 Km of well marked, beautiful snowshoe trails are accessible throughout the village and do not require lift access. Maps are available at the Nordic Sports Center.

Services: Whether you prefer a relaxing nature tour on snowshoes or x-c skis, or a challenging workout, The Beaver Creek Nordic Sports Center has something for everyone. Ski school lessons in classic, skate and telemark skiing at all levels and on all types of terrain are offered daily. We also offer ½ day and full day nature snowshoe and x-c tours. These interpretive programs are great for families as well. Private Instruction is also available daily.

Food Service: Excellent food options are available in Beaver Creek Village - including picnic snacks and lunches for packing up to McCoy Park. Water and snacks are available in the Nordic Sports Center.

Directions: I-70 to Avon (exit 167) and go around the first roundabout ¾ so you are headed South into Avon. Continue South through 3 more roundabouts to the Front Gate of Beaver Creek. Ask the gate attendant for a map and they will direct you to The Strawberry Park Condo Building at the bottom of Chair 12 where the BC Nordic Sports Center is located. Free parking is available in lots on Hwy 6 just before the BC Main Gate. Shuttles will bring you to the covered bridge in the BC Village and the Strawberry Park Condo building is just across the street. Limited paid parking is also available in the village - see village map - near the covered bridge.
