One of the most exciting times of the year is watching as the nordic centers open trails for an exciting new season!! Keep checking back as we update our trail conditions page with snow conditions and trail openings!

Beaver Creek Nordic Sports Center	Open	32 km	2/20/10	The Nordic Sports Center and McCoy park are open with 32 km of groomed trails for crosscountry, skate and snowshoe. We also have snowshoe trails at the base of the Mountain House for those not wishing to take the chair lift up to McCoy park. Breckenridge Nordic Center	Open	31Km	3/4/10	Clear and sunny skies after a full week of snow, mid 30's middays. Daily groomed Skate lanes and double set Classic tracks. 20Km Snow Wonder Snowshoe trails are open for self-guided or guided interpretive tours by day and twilight, reservations recommended. Crested Butte	Open	45 km	3/3/10	At 7:45 am it is already 15F under mostly clear skies. The Bench and Westside trails were groomed yesterday and Town Ranch and Eastside Trails all groomed this morning.
Devil's Thumb Ranch	Open	100 + km	3/2/10	Beautiful skiing! Between amazing spring like daytime temperatures and the last big stormwe have put together some awesome ski days. Come and enjoy! Marker Hill is now open and ALL of our trails are open, groomed and in superb condition! Please call 970.726.7010 for updates.
Eldora Nordic Center	Open	40 km	3/3/10	We have had 0 inches snow in the past 24 hours and 1.5 inches in the past 72 hours. Currently we have sunny clear conditions and a temp aournd 37F. Groomed and open trails include: Dixie, 17th Avenue, Phoebe, Meadows, the Stadium, Buckeye Basin, Bogwaun, Milliron, Beavers Revenge, Cheaters Corner, Twin Twisted Tree, For Pete's Sake, Ja Sure, Annie B, Roller Coaster, Sawmill, Gandy Dancer and Petersen's Return, Woodcutters, Deadman's Gulch, Zarlengo Loop, Jenny Creek and Porcupine loop. The Lakes Snowshoe trail and Antelope Creek are also now groomed and open. Please call the nordic center for the most updated grooming.
Frisco Nordic Center	Open	44Km	3/4/10	Good snow with spring like conditions, mid 30's midday, PB100 Snowcat groomed Skate lanes with set tracks for Classic skiing. Breckenridge Gold Run Nordic	Open	24 km	2/9/10	Prize Box, Gold Run and Smuggler groomed for classic and skate sking. Hoodoo Voodoo, Preston Loop and Draw in excellent condition. Grand Lake Nordic	Open		2/20/10	Our newly remodeled ski shop is open. We have new trails, equipment and great grooming. We have been receiving more snow in the past few days!! And it is still snowing! Visit www.grandlakeski.com for updates.

Keystone Nordic	Open	15 km	3/3/10	We have received 0 inches of snow in the past 48 hours and 11 inches in the past week! We have spring like temperatures but new snow! Our trails are groomed for classic and skate skiing. Our snowshoe trails and tubing hill are also open.
Latigo Ranch	Open	40Km	1/26/10	We have more new snow, 80% is open. 40Km OPEN now! The snow is still very thin in some places. Snow Mountain Ranch	Open	60+ km	3/11/10	We have roughly 60k of trails open and ready for skiing. We received a light dusing of yesterday afternoon and the groomers are out regrooming the lower trails this morning. Eagle Valley, the Youngs and Blue Ridge Rd to the loop were also tracked and groomed yesterday with the machine. Just and Audun are closed until we get more snow. Not sure about Old Lynch at this point however the rest of the lower trails appear to be in good shape. A chance for more snow today as well as the rest of the week. Please remember to pick up your daily trail pass at the Nordic Center (even if you're a season pass holder).
Steamboat Touring Center	Open	15km	3/3/10	This morning was 19F with clear skies.We have 100% of our trails open and groomed today for Classic and Skate skiing. All snowshoe trails are open. Skiing is fast and fun in the mormings and softer later in the day.
Tennessee Pass	Open	25 km	1/29/10	We are 100% open and in full swing! The skiing is great and we are grooming 6 to 7 days per week.
Vail Nordic Center	Open	17 km	3/9/2010	We have 100% of our trails groomed for classic and skate skiing. We have 3 inches of new snow today and more snow in the forecast. The trails are in great condition. Our retail shop is open 9-5, 7 days a week. We are offering beginner skate and classic lessons and private lessons. Vail Resorts Nordic Ski School	Open	25 km	2/20/10	We continue to get GREAT snowfall!!! We are busy with fabulous backcountry tours. Recent snowfall has made our backcountry excursions absolutely wonderful.
