Enjoy the scenic view of Rocky Mountain National Park and the Arapahoe National Forest at the Grand Lake Touring Center. We offer the beginner to advance skier a variety of terrain on 35 km of tracked and skating trails. Snowshoe trails and equipment are also available. In our ski shop, we offer rentals, lessons and several retail items for you to choose from. Relax in front of a roaring fire and enjoy a cup of hot chocolate or a light fare of delights.

 

Must Do: Ski Ptarmigan Tuck and the North Fork of the Colorado River.

Terrain: 35 KM Classic 35 KM Skating 5 KM snowshoeing We offer 30% rolling terrain for the beginner, 40% intermediate, and 30% for the advanced skier. Most of our terrain is located in the woods with great views.

Facilities & Amenities: In our ski shop, we offer rentals, lessons and several retail items for you to choose from. Relax in front of a roaring fire and enjoy the views of the Never Summer Range.

Lessons, snowshoe trails,  skating, & Classic skiing.  We offer classic and skate lessons for beginners and intermediate skier.

Other Services: 2 km. Dog loop

Food Service: The restaurant is a soup kitchen, with a variety of light snacks. Relax have a bowl of soup next to a blazing fire.

Special Events:  Full Moon Skis: Thurs. Dec. 31st 2009, Sat. Jan. 30th. & Feb. 28th. 2010.  Enjoy roasting a marshmallow in the middle of the winter around our campfire.

Directions: To reach Grand Lake Touring Center take US hwy 34 north from US Hwy 40 in Granby toward Rocky Mountain National Park and Grand Lake. Turn Left on County Road 48 Approx. ΒΌ mile North of the Entrance to the town of Grand Lake and follow it to the Touring Center.
