Terrain: Enjoy 100Km of groomed trail for classic and skate skiing. Our trail system accommodates everyone from first-time skier or snow-shoer to elite racer. Ski Blue ridge trail at 12 thousand feet of altitude or fun short loops around the Nordic Center. Even your canine companion can join you on some trails, making sure that you and your pup are getting a good workout.
Facilities & Amenities: The Nordic Center has full-service ski shop. This is the place where you will find great deals on lessons and ski and snowshoe rental packages. We also have the latest Nordic gear and apparel for sale. Tired of skiing? No problem, enjoy sleigh rides, Olympic size swimming pool with sauna, climbing wall or have fun in our Craft shop. To re-energize, visit the Skinny Ski Café. We have cozy cabins and lodge rooms for individuals, families and conference groups. Make memories at Snow Mountain Ranch!
Services: Enjoy sleigh rides, ICE SKATING RINK (new), Olympic size swimming pool with sauna, climbing wall, roller skating ring in the Kiva recreational center or have fun in our Craft shop.

Barneloppet (Children’s Ski Carneval), Saturday, February 24th
Barnelopet is in its 14th year in the Winter
Park area - the last several have been at Snow
Mountain Ranch. This cross-country event is free for children aged 3 to 16 and
offers 1 k., 2.5 k and 5 k. courses. Prior to the race at 11:30 there is
instruction etc. going on, plus after we furnish cookies, drinks, oranges.
There is also a separate Orienteering course for all ages co-sponsored by the
Rocky Mtn. Orienteering Club. We utilize the space behind Legett Hall.

The 24th annual Alpina Stampede is the Colorado’s
largest Nordic Ski Race and is Colorado’s
premier marathon.
42 km skate/classic, 21 km skate/classic, 10 km freestyle mini Stampede and 2
km FREE Children's race.
(2km FREE Children's race includes FREE rentals).
Race Day Registration: 6:30-8:30 a.m.
$1000 Total Cash Purse!
A Premium Prize will be awarded to the first Male and Female 42km Skate Skier
to reach the Road Crossing.
