The BC Nordic Sports Center is located in the Strawberry Park Condo Building across from the covered bridge in the Village of Beaver Creek. We offer a full service shop with rental equipment for classic, skate, backcountry and tele skiing. We also have a full selection of Atlas snowshoes for rent and Leki poles. Our staff is very knowledgeable and can help with proper equipment and accessories for all types of adventures including the backcountry. One of the highlights of the BC Nordic Center is the Tele Tech Center. We feature the latest telemark ski equipment from Fisher, Tua, Atomic, Rossingol, Black Diamond, K2 and Karhu - as well as boots from Scarpa and Garmot. Equipment may be exchanged during the day to try all the styles. The small retail portion of the shop offers water, snacks, sunscreen, sunglasses, gloves, hats, neck gaiters and wax. We also carry a full selection of Atlas Snowshoes and accessories for sale along with Leki Poles. The track system for the BC Nordic Sports Center is at the top of Chair 12 at 10,000' offering peace, quiet and fabulous views. A Nordic lift /track access ticket is required. The Track system has 32 Km of groomed, well-marked trails for classic, skate and snowshoe. A warming hut at the top of Chair 12 offers lockers for equipment and extra clothing storage and a yurt ½ way out into the park offers protection from weather, picnic tables and an outhouse. Picnic tables are also available at "The overlook" located at the far end of the park. Approx. 60 Km of well marked, beautiful snowshoe trails are accessible throughout the village and not requiring a lift. Maps are available at the Nordic Sports Center. Our specialty is the friendliest Nordic Center around with the best guest service to insure an unforgettable experience.
	Must Do: Lunch at the "Overlook" at McCoy Park - with spectacular views of 3 mountain ranges while enjoying the quiet of the backcountry. Terrain: 32 Km groomed trails in McCoy Park for classic and skate skiing. 32 Km groomed trails in McCoy Park for snowshoe. 15 Km packed trails exclusively for snowshoe in McCoy Park. 60 Km packed trails in and around Beaver Creek Mt. and the Neighboring villages of Arrowhead and Bachelor Gulch for snowshoeing
Services: Whether you prefer a relaxing nature tour on snowshoes or x-c skis, or a challenging workout, The Beaver Creek Nordic Sports Center has something for everyone. Ski school classes in classic, skate and telemark skiing at all levels and on all types of terrain are offered. We also have available ½ day and full day snowshoe and x-c nature tours with interpretive guides for all levels. Private Instruction is available as well for individuals or groups up to 6 persons in Beaver Creek or in the backcountry. Food Service: Gourmet lunches can be arranged. Special lunches can be ordered for all day tours. Excellent food service is available in the Beaver Creek Village - including picnic snacks and lunches for packing up to McCoy Park. Water and snacks are available in the Nordic Sports Center Special Events: Snowshoe races, Telemark Workshops EMAIL for scheduled dates.
Directions: I-70 to Avon (exit 167) and go around the first roundabout ¾ so you are headed South into Avon. Continue South through 3 more roundabouts to the Front Gate of Beaver Creek. Ask the gate attendant for a map and they will direct you to The Strawberry Park Condo Building at the bottom of Chair 12 where the BC Nordic Sports Center is located. Free parking is available in lots on Hwy 6 just before the BC Main Gate. Shuttles will bring you to the covered bridge in the BC Village and the Strawberry Park Condo building is just across the street. Limited paid parking is also available in the village - see village map - near the covered bridge.
