| Great early snowfalls predict a November 9th opening with a total of 30Kms groomed. The trail system below Peak 8 in the Victorian Town of Breckenridge is accessible along the free shuttle route and offers free parking. All ability level ski and snowshoe trails are mapped and marked. Spectacular scenery of the Ten Mile Range and Breckenridge Ski Resort. Trails traverse historic mining roads and sites with over 40 acres of open space and active Beaver Meadows. Under permit from the USDA, F.S. in the White River National Forest this family run business boasts old fashioned family fun and down home friendly service and atmosphere. Other noteworthy features include excellent grooming with bombardier 400 snowcats, guaranteed lessons, and a love for the beginner wanting to get started on the "right track."

Must
Do: You must try to ski up the Gluteus Maximus or Gluteus Minimus Trails in the White River National Forest to Kathy's Viewpoint sauna cabin or the new American Indian Teepee. You will appreciate the spectacular vistas, quiet wooded trails, and backcountry atmosphere.
Terrain: 30Km of groomed skating and classic track skiing,
20Km of snowshoe trails separate from ski trails, 5Km of dog walking (on a leash) snowshoe trails,
All new 20Km Breckenridge Golf Course experimental trails, Plus 9 miles of bike path grooming along the Ten Mile Range (limited season for grooming)
Facility
& Amenities: We are operating in a historic lodge that we moved from the top of Peak 8 Breckenridge ski Resort in 1980. This is a full service lodge with ski and snowshoe rentals, retail shop, and waxing services. Plans for a new site and log lodge are in the works with all new spa facilities.

Services: We offer a professional ski school with guest instructors, clinics, and Ski Fest promotions. Try our "Learn to Ski Free" lesson program with a one day advanced reservation on weekdays only.
And we sell new and used ski equipment and offer an upgrade program for children and adults. We have a large fleet of lightweight children's pulk sleds and kicksleds. Our snowshoe program includes multiple manufacturers and purchase
programs. Ask about our "Try Before You Buy" Demo program.
Food
Service: Our food service includes soups, breads, baked goods, smoothes, coffees, hot chocolate, energy bars and fresh juices.
Special
Events: We host local community based
races/events /children's programs/men's and women's clinics/Rocky Mountain Senior Games/Super Ski Swap and PSIA instructor clinics/school winter activity programs. |
