Devil's Thumb Ranch offers over 100k of groomed Nordic trails for classical, skate and snowshoeing. Our newly remodeled lodge rooms and cabins feature ski trail access right out the door. A complimentary continental breakfast is offered everyday in the Elk Lodge. Our award winning Ranch House Restaurant features fine dining and rustic charm. The Adventure Center is a complete rental and retail shop with the latest equipment and technical wear. Lessons and tours are available for classic and skate skiing as well as snowshoeing. Shuttle service to and from surrounding areas can be arranged by reservation. We offer group and private lessons for classic and skate skiing. Reservations can be made for snowshoe and ski tours on weekends and holidays. Our new kids program is offered Saturdays, Sundays and holidays from 10am-2pm. The National Ski Center for the Disabled (NSCD) cross-country ski program operates out of our facility on weekends. Call or email us for dates of the Moonlight Ski Tours. Devil's Thumb Nordic Center has added some new and exciting activities this year. Structured under group lessons, we now have hill specific lessons and ice skating lessons. These lessons are offered 7 days a week and will help you stay on your feet. Also, thanks to the hard work of our trail crew this summer and fall, we have added 10k of new trails to our system. P.S.- Don't forget, Trails close at 4pm.
	Must Do: Every adventurous skier should take the time to challenge themselves on the famous (or infamous if you prefer) "Black 10" trail. Full Moon Skis are also a "Must Do". Terrain: Number if Km for classic, skating and snowshoeing: 80+k classic, 60+k skate, 20+k snowshoe Facility & Amenities: Devil's Thumb Ranch is situated in a beautiful meadow just below the Continental Divide. The lodge, ski shop, cabins and restaurant are all in close proximity to the parking lot and trails.
Services: (Ski school, snowshoe tours, backcoutry experience) We offer winter horseback rides and sleigh rides. Hot chocolate and dinner sleigh rides are available by reservation. Our Ranch House Restaurant has live acoustic entertainment every Friday and Saturday night. The Elk Lodge offers a sauna and hot tub for our guests. Shuttle to and from the Winter Park Ski Train is available through reservations. We have a destination warming hut that is open on weekends for public use. New last year is our ice skating rink. We will offer open skating, pick-up hockey (you will need your own helmet, stick, and pads) and group ice skating lessons. Figure and hockey skates are available for rent in the Adventure Center. The Adventure Center (nordic center) offers a full variety of lessons and tours for classic, skate and snowshoeing. Food Service: The Ranch House Restaurant is open seasonally for lunch and dinner. Please call for hours and reservations. The Adventure Center offers snacks and drinks. All lodge guests receive a complimentary continental breakfast daily in the Elk Lodge. Pass through Winter Park and Fraser. 3.5 miles past Fraser take a right on County Road 83 and follow 3.5 miles to the ranch.
