Keystone Resort is a four season resort with three mountains to ski, night skiing, downhill ski and ride ski school, Nordic center, ice skating, sleight rides, tennis center, award winning restaurants, two gondolas, free programs for in-house guests (each guest gets Adventure Passport with free Trail fee and discounted skis or snowshoe rentals, kids programs, ice skating and more).

Keystone is where the nature, excitement and adventure merge.

The largest outdoor ice skating ring, sleigh rides to cabins for dinner, special programs for children, yoga classes, fitness center, scenic wagon ride, kids-night-out, hockey clinics, tubing hill, wine tasting are among the most popular activities.

Every Thursday there is a Peak-to-Peak Trek on snowshoes. Getting on the gondola leaving from the top of Keystone Mountain and heading over a backcountry bowl to the North Peak

Must Do: The Peak-to-Peak trek on snowshoes. The Full Moon Tours on snowshoes: January 3, 2004, February 6, 2004, and March 6, 2004.

Terrain: 18 km right from our front door on the golf course. 50 km of well-marked backcountry trails (requires driving 3-5 miles) - old mining roads leading to deserted mining shafts. Lot of these trails are just above the Continental divide: Peru Creek, Webster Pass, Deer Creek and Sts. John trails are the most popular - from 3-10 miles round trip.

Facility & Amenities: The Keystone Nordic Center is located on River Golf course. The main facilities are in the clubhouse. Open every day of the season 9 AM - 4:30 PM The facility are: Full size and service rental shop (skis, snowshoes, inner tubes, telemark equipment), restaurant, ski trails, snowshoe trails, small tubing hill, ski school, restrooms and resting facility.

Services: (Ski school lessons for classic skiing, ski skating, Telemarking, private lessons, children's mini lessons, snowshoe tours, backcountry experience, skier's soup bar, ski repair and maintenance shop).

Food Service: We offer daily 2-4 soups in our Nordic Bowl soup bar. Freshly baked bread.

(All of the above have a snowshoe tour portion and after the "caloric output" we will have the "caloric intake" - light supper consisting of soup (chili), bread and dessert).

Directions: From I-70 take the first exit after the Eisenhower tunnel to Dillon and Keystone. That gets you on Hwy. 6 - go East toward Keystone - 6 miles.

As you are approaching Keystone, look for a sign on your right announcing "Cross Country Center". Turn right onto River Golf Course and follow signs to the Club House.
