Latigo Ranch

Latigo Ranch is scenic and secluded, located at about 9,000 ft. elevation amid open meadows and forests of pine and aspen. We are a dude ranch in the summer and a cross country ski center in the winter. Latigo caters to a small number of guests, maximum of 24, who enjoy suburb skiing and snowshoeing in a quiet family atmosphere. Most guests stay for from 2 to 7 nights reveling in the abundant snow, great trail grooming, stunning views, outstanding home cooked meals, cozy accommodations, and friendly atmosphere.

Our specialty is spectacular skiing on lots of great trails for extremely few skiers in a friendly family operated ranch setting.

Must Do: Ski up to the top of Bull Ridge or Sunrise and drink in the panoramic mountain vista with your best friend.

Terrain: 65 Km tilled and groomed for skating, classic, and snowshoeing.

Facility & Amenities: Latigo Ranch consists of about 500 acres of private land that juts into the Routt/Medicine Bow National Forest. In addition to the private land, we operate our trail system on thousands of acres of National Forest and have lots more available for backcountry skiing. In the winter, we can accommodate up to 24 guests in our contemporary log cabins. We have a tubing hill, hot tub, game room, recreation building, and library. The trails are maintained for skating and classic cross country skiing as well as snowshoeing
