The Beaver Creek Nordic Sports Center offers a complete rental shop with Classical, Skate, Telemark and Snowshoe equipment rentals, daily scheduled and private lessons, lift ticket sales, as well as limited retail, snacks and beverages. The latest and greatest in equipment is available including Solomon and Fischer classic and skate skis and boots, K2 and Volkl Tele skis, Garmont and Scarpa Tele boots and Atlas snowshoe demo and retail sales.
From the Nordic Sports center guest are encouraged to ride the Strawberry Park express lift (chair 12) and explore the beauty of McCoy park. Considered to be one of Beaver Creeks best kept secrets McCoy park features 32 plus kms of groomed and rustic trails for Cross Country, Skate and Snowshoeing. With an elevation of between 9840ft and 10,200ft McCoy park offers wonderful views of 3 mountain ranges.

Must Do:Take the Strawberry Park express lift up to McCoy Park. Snowshoe to the overlook for a picnic or to Maimie's for a grilled lunch.
Terrain:Rolling terrain, 32 plus kms of trails from beginner to advanced. High alpine trails ranging from 9840ft-10,200ft.
Facilities & Amenities:The full service Nordic Sports Center is located in the Strawberry Park building which is located next to the base of chair 12. There is a warming hut located at the top of Chair 12. There are three sets of picnic tables, a rustic yurt and an outhouse in McCoy park.
Other ServicesThe Nordic sports center offers ski in ski out Telemark rentals. Lift ticket sales and access to Beaver Creek village and Mountain.
Food Service:The resort offers a wide variety of lunch choices and price ranges. From pizza, burgers and salads to sushi...lots of options. The Nordic center sells candy bars, cliff bars, water and gatorade as well as tea, hot chocolate and coffee.

Directions:From 1-70 westbound take the Avon exit 167 and follow signs for Beaver Creek Resort. Complimentary parking is available at the base of the mountain (Elk or Bear lots) with shuttle busses running to Beaver Creek mountain approximatelly every 12-15 minutes. The Nordic center is located in the Strawberry park building directly accross from the covered bridge and bus drop off location. Pay to park is also an option an can be accessed via the main gate of Beaver Creek.

Cross-Country Skiing & Snowshoeing 1/2 mile above downtown Breckenridge along the Free Ski & Ride Shuttle route that stops right at our front door. Just ask the driver to stop at the Breckenridge Nordic Ski & Snowshoe Adventure Center, at 1200 Ski Hill Road in Breckenridge. Breckenridge Nordic has a Shock Hill Olympian's Skier Bridge and two nordic skier tunnels for a continuous looped trail system. We have a newly expanded cross-country skiing trail system on Peaks 6 & 7 in the White River National Forest. We manage and groom trails on almost 1,400 acres, under permit by the USDA, Forest Service. We feature "Kathy's Viewpoint" cabin with a sauna, and lunch table, and the "Hallelujah Hut". Both are destination warming huts that are heated and open all day, everyday for your enjoyment. Find the new Cabana outhouse at the Hallelujah Hut this season.

Breckenridge Gold Run Nordic Center located at the Breckenridge Golf Course offers over 25+kilomenters of groomed classic and skate skiing trails and 15+ kilometers of snowshoeing. Beginners and Intermediate skiers will relish in the rolling mountainous golf course terrain. Intermediate and advanced skiers will be challenged by one the most unique trails, Hoo-Doo Voo-Doo, in Colorado, and enjoy the twist and turns while skiing through the Historic Golden Horseshoe Mining District. Spectacular vistas of the Ten Mile Range can be viewed from Pegasus, Prizebox and the Jumbo Overlook. Let the staff of our PSIA Certified Ski School instruct you in beginning to advanced ski technique or design your own ski clinic to meet your specific needs. Lessons are offered daily at 10:00 am and noon. Private lessons are available upon request. Snowshoe Tours are offered everyday at 11:00 am.
A full service ski shop offers ski waxing, binding mounting, ski prep and our new “hot box” wax service. A heated wax room with complimentary profile benches, irons, and basic brushes is provided for your waxing needs. We are proud to be an official Rossignol Ski Center with a full line of rental and performance equipment available for rent. Ice skate rental are available at a nominal fee.
Our retail shop is stocked with cross country apparel featuring Swix, Garneau, and Craft wear. A variety of hats, gloves and Buffs are available including; Bula, Swix , Toko, Holmenkol and Skida. Specialty handmade Peruvian alpaca Nordic sweaters by Caamano, will keep you cozy even on the coldest day. Round out your simpler side with a full selection of Sherpani bags.

The Crested Butte Nordic Center is a world-class destination Nordic ski area that offers loads of fun for all ages and abilities. A full-service cross-country ski center, we offer ski and snowshoe rentals, lessons, clinics, guided tours, and a robust calendar of special events. Our 55 kilometers of groomed cross-country ski trails meander through the outskirts of Crested Butte, a quaint Victorian mining town and National Historic District. Ski or snowshoe along the Slate River, around Peanut Lake in the morning light, through coniferous forest overlooking town or along the base of Crested Butte Mountain with spectacular views of Paradise Divide in the distance. Join us for one of our Sunday brunches or moonlight dinners out at our Magic Meadows warming yurt for a truly unique dining experience. For a change of pace, try renting skates and get on the Town Ice Rink adjacent to our facility or take sleds down the nearby sledding hill.

Must Do:Our Sunday brunches and Moonlight dinners at our Magic Meadows yurt are a treat for all. Ski or snowshoe out to the cozy yurt where you'll be greeted by a warm fire and a delicious meal. Space is limited, so be sure to make your reservations at least 48 hours in advance.
Terrain:Terrain varies from flats and rolling hills to steeps that are sure to get your heart pumping! All trails are groomed for both classic and skate skiing, including 10 kilometers of dog trails so your four-legged friend can get out with you. A trail pass is required on all trails.
Facilities & Amenities:Our Nordic Center is the hub of the action. Come in for trail passes, ski rentals, maps, or to take advantage of our many services. Full ski packages for classic, skate, backcountry Nordic, and kids are available, as well as snowshoes. Restrooms, changing rooms, and a wax bench are at your disposal. We also have a Burely chariot you can rent to take a little one out skiing with you!

Special Events:CB's biggest Nordic event, and biggest costume party, Alley Loop Nordic Marathon will take place on February 4, 2012. This all-day events includes races from 1.5 km to the full 42 km marathon, a qualifying race for American Birkebeiner. The Alley Loop has also recently been added to the American Ski Marathon Series! What's New:We're pleased to add regular snowshoe tours our list of fun ways to get outside and enjoy CB's winter wonderland. Join us Tuesdays and Fridays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. for a pleasant snowshoe adventure into the pristine outskirts of Crested Butte accompanied by one of our knowledgeable and friendly guides.

We also host Learn to Skate for Free clinics the first Wednesday of every month, and a series of skate clinics in January to help build your skills in a fun, supportive setting.

on over 100 kilometers of trails rated #1 for scenery, #4 for grooming and #7 overall out of all
Nordic resorts in North America. If you would like to try something other than skiing, the
Devil's Thumb Nordic Center also offers snowshoeing, ice skating and skijoring. Lessons,
equipment rental and sales are available for all levels, so no one will feel left out in the cold
along this gorgeous terrain.

Facilities & Amenities:While there's uphill... and through the forest... There are also frozen lakes to ice-skate across and thrilling hills to sled down. And all of them are available at Devil's Thumb Ranch. Of course when you stay here - at our Lodge or in one of our cozy cabins - you're only minutes away from Winter Park, one of America's premiere downhill resorts. So carving turns through Rocky Mountain powder is still an option. Spend summer days laying by the pool and winter evenings in an outdoor hot tub with awesome views of the Continental Divide.

Our activities headquarters are located in Zach's Mercantile, in the lower level of the Broad Axe Barn. Zach's is also a great place to shop for quality outerwear, footwear, gear, bathing suits and healthy snacks while you're visiting the Ranch. We're open from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM seven days a week.
Other ServicesThere's nothing like a little pampering after a hard day of cross-country skiing. Our beautiful 10,000 square foot spa is located in a quiet corner of the meadow in its own building overlooking the Ranch. It has eight treatment rooms, including a couples suite, a yoga lookout studio, and separate men's and women's locker rooms, each with steam rooms. Our spa gift shop features a variety of botanical and organic skin treatment products as well as a fun selection of designer jewelry, yoga clothing, bags, gifts, artwork and more. Whether it's a hot stone massage, an exfoliating body scrub, a high altitude facial or one of our couples relaxation treatments, the Ranch Creek Spa offers just the thing to revive and rejuvenate.

Beef and pork come from high-end suppliers of humanely raised organic meats. All desserts, sauces and salads are homemade from scratch.

The Breckenridge Nordic Center is 25% OPEN at 1200 Ski Hill Road in Breckenridge, CO. 10 miles up valley, and on the 1,400 acre White River National Forest permitted area on Peak 7 in Breckenridge has 8Km OF NORDIC TRAILS AND 6KM SNOWSHOE TRAILS OPEN THROUGH SUNDAY, APRIL 1ST.
Trails are open and groomed every couple of days with a set track and a skate lane.

The Home Ranch is a guest ranch located 18 miles North of Steamboat Springs. The ranch offers both guided cross country skiing and snowshoeing on the ranch's 30km of groomed trails and off ranch adventures in the Routt National Forest, in addition to daily shuttle service to the downhill ski area in Steamboat Springs.
Our vacation packages include accommodations in our main lodge or one of our private cabins, meals, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, guides, equipment, lessons and alpine ski shuttles. Drive through Steamboat Springs, 11/2 miles past town you will come to a stoplight (7-Eleven is on the right). Make a right at the light onto County Route 129. Continue north to Clark, about 18 miles. The Home Ranch is 1/4 mile past the Clark General Store on the right hand side of the road. Driving time from Denver International Airport is approximately 4 hours.

Must Do:Take our guided Mountain Top Snowshoe Trek. This unforgettable experience begins at the top of Dercum Mountain and offers spectacular views as you trek out to Bergman Bowl & North Peak. Offered Thursdays at 10:15am or any day with a minimum of three people. Reservation required.
Terrain:We offer 9 miles (16km) of easy to advanced groomed ski trails are 100% OPEN, and a perimeter snowshoe trail on the rolling terrain of The River Course at Keystone.
Nearby, you can easily access more than 35 miles (57km) of well-marked backcountry trails (requiring a 3-5 mile drive from our Nordic Center). These trails, just below the Continental Divide, are old mining roads leading to deserted mining shafts and offer great nature hiking & views. Peru Creek, Webster Pass, Deer Creek and Sts. John trails are the most popular. These trails are 3-10 miles round trip and vary in difficulty. For more information and driving directions, please visit our Nordic Center.
Unfortunately we are not able to offer dog freindly trails on the golf course. However, you can ski and snowshoe with your dog on the Keystone Gulch Road and on the mining roads in the Montezuma area described above.
Facilities & Amenities:The Keystone Nordic Center is located on The River Course at Keystone. We are open daily from 9am - 4:30pm. Our clubhouse features a full-service Nordic shop with equipment rental & repair, apparel & accessories, restrooms, a restaurant, outdoor patio seating, and plenty of free parking.
Other ServicesOur Family Tubing Hill is fun for everyone, but especially great for toddlers and young children who are under the 42" height requirement for tubing at Adventure Point on Dercum Mountain. Walk up and slide down the old-fashioned way. Tube rental required. $16/hour or $20 for 2 hours.

Latigo Ranch is scenic and secluded, located at about 9,000 ft. elevation amid open meadows and forests of pine and aspen. Latigo caters to a small number of guests, maximum of 24, who enjoy superb skiing and snowshoeing in a quiet family atmosphere. Most guests stay for from 2 to 7 nights reveling in the abundant snow, great trail grooming, stunning views, outstanding home cooked meals, cozy accommodations, and friendly atmosphere.
Our specialty is spectacular skiing on lots of great trails for extremely few skiers in a friendly family operated ranch setting.

Facilities & Amenities:Latigo Ranch consists of about 500 acres of private land that juts into the Routt/Medicine Bow National Forest. In addition to the private land, we operate our trail system on thousands of acres of National Forest and have lots more available for backcountry skiing. In the winter, we can accommodate up to 24 guests in our contemporary log cabins. We have a tubing hill, hot tub, game room, recreation building, and library. The trails are maintained for skating and classic cross country skiing as well as snowshoeing.

At Tennessee Pass you will find a world-class Nordic Center, as well as elegant four-course dining at our Cookhouse! Our 2500sq. foot Nordic Center has rentals, lessons, a coffee bar and everything you might need to explore our extensive high-alpine trail system. Our prices are reasonable, and the staff is friendly.

Vail Resorts Nordic School specializes in Backcountry snowshoe and cross-country Tours. In addition we offer Skin and Ski, (learn the art of backcountry travel, use of skins for climbing up, avalanche equipment and more), Avalanche Awareness, (Gain a better knowledge of avalanches and the tools used.) and Family Tours (Gather the family for a half or full day tour on snowshoes or XC skis and lets go have some fun and adventure).
All of our tours and lessons incorporate winter travel skills, local history, and learning of the natural environment around us. All of our tours and lessons include equipment, (with the exception of Telemark). If you are looking for a fun adventure off the mountain and away from set track come and join us.

We specialize in Backcountry tours on snowshoes and cross country skis. We also offer Skin and Ski, Avalanche Awearness, and Family Tours.
Must Do:Try a skin and ski tour for the day and learn more about backcountry travel, our natural enviroment, and feel the sense of adventure.
Terrain:We operate in the beautiful White River National Forest between Vail Pass and Tennessee Pass at elevations between 7,500 and 11,500 feet. We have no set track but use the wilderness as our playground to adventure and learning.
Facilities & Amenities:All availible, our base of operations is in the Golden Peak Lodge two blocks from the center of Vail Village.

The Vail Nordic Center offers 17 kilometers of groomed ski trails and 10 kilometers of separate snowshoe trails. We are located 2 miles east of the heart of Vail Village at the Vail Golf Course. All of our trails from the beginning to the advanced have stunning views of the beautiful Gore Range. A free town bus runs regularly from Vail Village and we offer free parking to customers using our trails.

Must Do:Ski east along Gore Creek on the Brick Hill Trail out to the Beaver Ponds. Take a photo of the beautiful Gore Range.
Terrain:Our trails are great for all ability levels; the 17 kilometers of trails are groomed daily for classic skiing and skate skiing. We also offer 10 kilometers of separate snowshoe trails.
Facilities & Amenities:The retail shop offers clothing for all your outdoor endurance sports and equipment for skate, classic, backcountry skiing and snowshoeing. We carry brands such as Patagonia, Salomon, Fischer, Swix, Rossignol, Bula, and Atlas. Our full rental shop offers classic packages, skate ski packages, and snowshoes. We also have a complete repair shop. As a PSIA Member Ski School, we offer group beginner lessons, private lessons and Master's programs.
Food Service:Gourmet soup, snacks, cookies, hot chocolate, coffee, and cold drinks are offered daily.
Special Events:The Nordic Ski Swap is November 19th. We have a local race series, wax clinics, Master's programs, beginner programs, and other events throughout the season. Check our website for scheduled events.
