The Colorado Cross Country Ski Association

Hone your skate skills at Sisu Ski Retreat this winter. Now in its seventh season, this annual women's-only retreat offers multiple skate ski clinics, yoga and mindfulness sessions, private rooms, and delicious home-cooked meals over the course of a long weekend. All equipment is provided and beginners are welcome!

The Kids Nordic Ski Program offers ski instruction for beginners and more accomplished skiers ages 5-10, skiing games, winter nature activities, and ends with a Nordic Ski Festival and prizes for all.

The program will be offered starting January 9 ending February 27, 2026. Please arrive 30-45 minutes prior to lessons to get equipment and trail pass which are provided by Snow Mtn Ranch for the duration of the lesson. Some Covid precautions are still observed, wait times may be longer than normal and social distancing is still requested. Classic, skate and never-ever lessons are available.
Hot chocolate and bites of energy are available at the end of the lesson.

Part of the Pinnacle Orthopedics Community Race Series. These races are a fun way to get outside, exercise, meet new people, and challenge yourself. Each week is a different format and location, with races ranging from 5 - 25km, plus a 3 - 6km short course option and a free 1 - 2km kids race. 

Distances: 

• 3km junior course
• short course 15km
• long course 30km

Course: Look forward to a challenging technical course! The 30km racers will complete 2 laps of a challenging 15km course that includes approximately 1000 feet of climbing per lap.

The Frisco Freeze Winter Fat Bike Race is back at the Frisco Nordic Center on Saturday, February 14 with a 3:00pm start.

The Frisco Nordic Center typically doesn’t allow winter fat biking on its groomed trails, but Frisco Freeze is the exception! It’s your exclusive opportunity to ride the pristine course and test your skills on a one-of-a-kind adventure.
