Snow Mountain Ranch Nordic Center

YMCA of the Rockies - Snow Mountain Ranch's 120K of world-class terrain meanders through pine forest, wide meadows and along Pole Creek. With trails for all ability levels, Snow Mountain Ranch is the perfect place for any level skier. Choose from a variety of affordable lodging options and a wide variety of activities for the whole family. Guests who stay with us receive complimentary trail passes, along with complimentary ice skating, tubing and sledding!

Lessons

1-Hour Group Lesson

Adult: $40 (Lesson Only) // Child (12 & Under): $40

Available at 9:30 am and 1 pm. Max. 6 people/group.

For children (12 & under) lesson includes equipment rental, trail pass

1-Hour Private Lesson

1 household or 3 individuals: $50 per person

Available at 11:00 am and 2:30 pm. Includes lesson only.

The Nordic Center has full-service ski shop. Here you will find great deals on lessons and ski and snowshoe rental packages. We also have the latest Nordic gear and apparel for sale. Tired of skiing? No problem! Enjoy the swimming pool with sauna, climbing wall or have fun in our Craft shop. We have cozy cabins, yurts and lodge rooms for individuals, families and conference groups. Make memories this winter at Snow Mountain Ranch!

Programs

Children’s Learn to Ski Program

Ages 5-9

Offered Fridays from 1 to 2:30pm by the Grand Nordic Ski Club.The Kids Nordic Ski Program offers ski instruction for beginners and more accomplished skiers ages 5-9, skiing games, winter nature activities, and ends with a Nordic Ski Festival. The program will be offered in January and February. Please arrive 30 minutes prior to lessons. Equipment and trail pass are provided for the duration of the lesson.
