The Vail Nordic Center offers 17 kilometers of groomed ski trails and 10 kilometers of separate snowshoe and fat tire bike trails. We are located 2 miles east of the heart of Vail Village at the Vail Golf Course. Grill on the Gore Restaurant is open daily 11am-3pm with a soup buffet. All of our trails from the beginning to the advanced have stunning views of the beautiful Gore Range. A free town bus runs regularly from Vail Village and we offer free parking to customers using our trails.

Lessons

The Vail Nordic Center's PSIA-certified instructors have one goal - to make cross country skiing easy and fun. A short lesson will provide technique tips to develop new skills, build confidence, and open up new aspects of the sport.

Beginner Group Lessons (75 min.)

Adult: $69 // Youth: $59

Group lessons offered daily at 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Group lessons focus on classic skiing. Trail pass and rentals are not included in the lesson cost

Private Lessons (60 min.)

Adults: $109 // Youth: $79

Choose classic or skate skiing. Additional charges for multiple skiers. Trail pass and rentals are not included in the lesson cost

Skate & Classic Ski Clinics (75 min.)

Adults: $59 // Youth: $49

Alpine Touring Ski Clinics (90 min.)

Adults: $99 // Youth: $79

Focus on alpine touring technique, AT bindings and climbing skins usage. Includes rentals.

The Vail Nordic Center offers a full-service retail and pro shop catering to Nordic and backcountry enthusiasts. Shoppers will find a wide selection of skis and boots from top brands like Fischer, Salomon, and Rossignol, along with performance clothing from Swix, Salomon, Bjørn Dæhlie, Kari Traa, and Dynafit. The shop also carries Crescent Moon snowshoes, backpacks, accessories, and the valley’s most complete selection of Swix and Toko ski waxes.

In addition to gear sales, the Nordic Center provides expert services including ski waxing, repairs, and binding mounting—making it a one-stop destination for both equipment and support.
